Ocelle Ring — Pear-Cut Emerald

A pear-cut emerald ringed by a thread of gold and encircled by a halo of diamonds: the ring takes up the drawing of the ocelle — the eye of the peacock — the founding motif of the house. The bezel protects the stone and outlines it with a clean line; the band, polished and deliberately slim, leaves all the light to the colour.

It is the piece that says the most about the house in a single line: a true green, a warm gold, no ornament beyond what is needed.

The stone

Hydrothermal lab-created emerald, pear cut 8 × 5 mm, about 1.00 carat. Deep, slightly blue-toned green, clean crystal. Born in a laboratory: composition, hardness and fire identical to those of a mined emerald, without the uncertainty of origin or the price that comes with it.

The setting

Bezel setting for the centre stone, full halo of lab-grown diamonds in grain setting. Solid gold, hallmarked at the chosen carat — never plated, never vermeil.
