Thirty days to change your mind
As each piece is made to order and chosen on screen, the House grants a contractual thirty-day right of return from receipt of the order. This right is granted voluntarily: purchases made on a website are not subject to the statutory right of revocation of art. 40a ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations, whose scope is limited to the cases listed in art. 40b CO.
Returns are free. We cover the return shipping and transport insurance from every country we serve: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Conditions
To be taken back, the piece must reach us:
- in its original condition, not worn beyond a try-on, without scratches or deformation;
- in its original box, with the composition certificate and, where applicable, the IGI certificate of the centre stone;
- within thirty days of receipt, the date of hand-over to the carrier being decisive.
Loss of the IGI certificate of a laboratory diamond leads to a deduction equal to the cost of replacing it, which we tell you before any refund.
Pieces not taken back
The following are excluded from the right of return, except in case of a defect:
- pieces engraved at the customer's request (initials, date, text);
- pieces made to measure or modified to the customer's own specifications, other than simple ring sizing;
- pieces visibly worn, damaged, recut or repaired by a third party.
Ring sizing carried out by us during making does not prevent a return.
How to return
- Write to us at carronetolivier@gmail.com with your order number and the piece concerned.
- Within two working days we send you a prepaid, insured return label and packing instructions.
- Drop the parcel off with the indicated carrier within the thirty days. Never send a piece without a return label and insurance: unannounced parcels travel at the sender's risk and may be refused.
Refund
The refund is made within ten working days of our receiving and checking the piece, to the payment method used for the order. The amount refunded is the price paid, including the original delivery costs.
Where payment was made in a currency other than Swiss francs, the refund is made in that same currency; any difference due to exchange rate movements between purchase and refund cannot be attributed to us.
For deliveries to the European Union, import VAT and customs duties are included in the price paid: they are therefore included in the amount refunded.
Exchange
An exchange for another piece, another size or another gold fineness is possible within the same thirty days and on the same conditions. Any price difference is charged or refunded. The making time of the exchanged piece starts when we receive the returned piece.
Defective or non-conforming piece
If the piece is defective, the statutory warranty for defects applies independently of this right of return. It is time-barred two years after delivery (art. 210 para. 1 CO). Report the defect to us as soon as you discover it (art. 201 CO): we arrange collection at our expense and, at our choice, repair, replace or refund the piece.
Customers in the European Union
Customers resident in the European Union benefit from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal provided for by Directive 2011/83/EU. The thirty-day right of return granted here is broader and applies instead where it is more favourable; mandatory rights under Union law are reserved.
