A Geneva house
Carron Olivier is a fine jewellery house established in Geneva, on the Rue du Mont-Blanc. It makes jewellery in solid hallmarked gold — 9, 14 or 18 carat — set with lab-created stones, and makes each piece to order rather than in batches.
The catalogue is deliberately short: four rings, one bangle, one necklace. Each piece was drawn to stand on its own, and to be worn every day.
The ocelle
The ocelle is the eye that closes the peacock's feather: a coloured centre, a radiance around it. It is the founding motif of the house. You find it engraved by hand on the plate of the bangle, drawn by the halo of the ring, elongated by the marquise cut of the pendant. A true green, a warm gold, and nothing around it.
Our position on lab-created stones
All our stones are created in a laboratory: hydrothermal emeralds and IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds. Their chemical composition, hardness and brilliance are those of a mined stone. What changes is the origin — and what that makes possible.
A mined emerald of comparable green, without heavy oiling, trades at levels that exclude most buyers from the outset. The lab-created stone moves that threshold: it allows a full carat, a colour chosen rather than accepted, and traceability without grey areas. We do not claim it is the same thing as a mined stone; we say it is the same stone, with a different history.
This is stated on every product page and on the certificate of composition supplied with the piece. We use no mined stones.
Gold, always solid
Never plated, never vermeil. Our pieces are in solid gold, hallmarked at the carat chosen. Nine carat is the hardest and the most discreet in colour; eighteen carat the warmest and the heaviest. Fourteen sits between the two and suits daily wear.
Made to order
Nothing is mounted before it is ordered. Allow ten to fifteen working days for making. For rings, we confirm your ring size after the order, at no extra cost. The piece reaches you in the house case, with its certificate.
You then have thirty days to change your mind, return carriage at our expense.
